BLACK SKULL is Fiona Krüger’s second time piece, a graphic re-design of her iconic SKULL watch. The design is inspired by the 17th century skull watch of Mary Queen of Scots, the Mexican celebration of Dia de Los Muertos and beautifully decorated skeleton movements found in today’s luxury watches.
This watch is produced as a limited edition of 12 pieces; each piece is hand-made in Switzerland and powered by a Swiss mechanical manual-wind movement with a 5-day power-reserve and custom black bridges.
BLACK SKULL’s hand-decorated 3-layer dial mirrors the aesthetics of the movement underneath, highlighting the mechanical aspect of the watch. Te decorative details are hand-painted in superluminova and are found on each layer of the dial and the skeletonised hands, bringing the BLACK SKULL to life in the dark.
Encased in a hand-polished stainless steel skull shaped case with black PVD coating, the watch is complimented by a premium hand-made leather wrist-band.
