European Ferrari Challenge Champion Ange Barde has launched a limited edition timepiece, Chronograph Racing Team Evo 1 that he designed and developed with his Swiss watch manufacture.
The collection Racing Team Evo 1 includes four watches produced in limited and numbered edition from 1 to 50. Limited quantities will be exclusively available for each market.
For the past twenty years, Ange Barde competed on European, North American and South-East Asian circuits, racing with the most legendary models of Ferrari, Porsche and Maserati. He combined both of his passions for racing and watchmaking when he founded ANGE BARDE Genève, a dedicated watch Manufacture to create unique and outstanding Gentleman Driver’s timepiece.
Born from the fusion of constraints of racing with those of the Haute Horlogerie, the watch Racing Team Evo 1 is a limited edition chronograph with a unique and innovative design created by Ange Barde, the multiple champion of the European Ferrari Challenge, and the Geneva based manufacture he founded in 2008.
With each and every component directly inspired from the most spectacular racecars, its bespoke design immediately suggests sportsmanship and precision with a touch of timeless elegance.
Each feature of this limited edition chronograph reflects the DNA of racing brought in by Ange’s racing experience: with its bezel in the shape of racing exhaust case; the traditional spokes of a race car steering wheel replicated into the arms of the watch; the disc brake revolving within its caliper representing the ongoing movement of the seconds; the perforated pedals of a race car serving as the pushers to start and stop the chronograph; the racing tire thread inside the rubber strap and the rotor representing a sports car rim.
