Swiss wristwatches leverage timelessly classic horological design with dependable micromechanical ingenuity. The design of the new Vintage Style watch collection presented by ZENO-WATCH BASEL owes its appeal to proficiency as well as long-standing traditions. This latest project challenged the proficiency and efficiency of the company’s watchmakers. The result: the Amelia Collection, which combines an elegant and graceful design vocabulary with rugged materials and proven caliber engineering.
Amelia wristwatches with superb mechanical movements are available in simple self-winding versions with a date display or as chronographs with stop functions. The timepiece cases and metal bracelets are crafted from highly corrosion-resistant 316L stainless steel with black PVD or rose-gold PVD coatings.
The meticulously crafted yet sleek metal dials with sunburst patterns and applied, polished classic numerals as well as matching hand-setting crowns and chronograph pushers are noteworthy style elements.
The Swiss precision movements, with 21 or 25 bearing jewels, can be admired through the screwed display back. The movements are self-winding, powered by rotors suspended in ball bearings, which use the energy of wrist movements to wind the mainspring. A slip clutch prevents over tensioning of the spring and assures that the watch is always wound with a uniform amount of energy.
