L’Duchen Sextant Automatic

Despite the invention of satellite and GPS, a Sextant is still the main tool to be used in ocean navigation. The principle of its function has not changed since it was invented by Isaac Newton in 17th century. This device does not depend on fragile electronics and batteries. But it needs an accurate chronometer. At the present time, the L’Duchen watch will serve the purpose.

This Stainless steel timepiece is powered with automatic movement (Soprod A10) with rotor decorated with Cotes-de-Genève pattern and bridge decorated with Perlage pattern. Its 39х38 mm case is also fitted with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal and a transparent case back with screws. The Sunray polished dial, black or white is decorated with metal element in form of sextant.
