On the occasion of its 10th anniversary, British watch maker Christopher Ward unveils a new timepiece, the C5 Malvern Slimline – inspired by the first ever Christopher Ward model, the C5 Malvern Automatic.
Responding to the growing demands from Malvern owners for a sleek contemporary version of their favourite watch, the brand designed a new slim case with beautiful subtle lines.
The 40 mm case which is 2 mm wider than the first model, houses a hand-wound ETA 2801 mechanical movement. It has wider lugs (20mm) and its height is 2.10mm lower at only 8.70mm.
The C5 Malvern Slimline is available in three colour options – classic Optic White one-piece dial, Charcoal and Blue versions with galvanic sun-ray effect one-piece dials.
The manual winding ETA 2801 movement which beats at the rate of 28,800 provides a power reserve of 38 hours. The calibre is visible through the transparent case back.
