The Crystalball Bamboo Tiger by Swiss luxury watch brand Badollet is a one of kind horology art piece that feature a delicate open working of the main plate and bridges, inspired by Asian bamboo scaffolding.
A 3mm, 18 carat gold plain disk has been carved to create this piece of art: “a tiger in a bamboo forest jumping over the tourbillon”.

It took more than 250 hours of painstaking work by an expert engraver. This sculpture is then applied on a malachite plate. The 18 carat rose gold case houses a mechanical hand wound flying tourbillon movement which beats at the rate of 21,600 beats per hour.
The flying tourbillon at 6’o clock is guarded by a rose gold roaring tiger and the elegant blue hands look after the time reading functions.
