Paul Picot’s Atelier Tourbillon comes with some striking features: a high performance double-barrel movement with a 5-day power reserve and an exclusive Paul Picot “Côtes Visantes” wave decoration on the bridges of the tourbillon movement.
The tourbillon cage is generously exposed at 9 o’clock and topped by a second hand. The retrograde date lies between 12 o’clock and 3 o’ clock, and the power reserve (5 days) is shown on an arc from 4 o’clock to 6o’clock. The calendar is adjusted with a push- button at 2 o’clock. Exquisite craftsmanship is also evident in the 18-carat gold case and the hand-fluted bezel, middle and back. For a perfect fit and stylish finish, the lugs are soldered and the crown protector is screwed in place. The retrograde date, power reserve and seconds zones are applied, with a circular brushed finish.
The watch features rhodium-plated applied Arabic numerals and blued steel hands. This exceptional timepiece is rounded off with a fine hand-sewn alligator leather strap which is easy to fasten thanks to an 18-carat gold folding clasp. The Atelier Tourbillon is available in 18-carat white gold, as a limited edition of just 10 watches. It is presented in a sumptuous case in precious woods with marquetry work and an exquisitely crafted cover, containing chess, backgammon and draughts sets.
