Ulysse Nardin unveils a redesigned version of its Marine Diver loaded with all the qualities of a genuine diving watch, such as screw-locked crown, rotating bezel and a solid stainless steel case that is water-resistant to 300 meters. The brand also offers an equally sporty women’s version: Lady Diver.
Ulysse Nardin has been well associated with the world of marine adventures since its establishment. It had produced many legendary marine chronometers, which assisted ocean conquests. The brand is now anchoring its presence in the field of diving instruments.
Fully redesigned, the popular Marine Diver is both a highly reliable diving instrument and a fine sports watch that can be worn on every occasion. This stunning piece is also available for women in the form of the Lady Diver, which is less imposing inn size but equally appealing.
With Ulysse Nardin’s anchor emblem proudly displayed at 2 o’clock, Marine Diver’s dial which is available in blue or black versions is decorated with a wave-like motif. The same ornamentation can be seen on the bezel. The solid case-back reveals an engraving of a boat surrounded by the inscription: “Conquer the ocean.” This embellishes a new case designed for extreme conditions, extended by the lugs with their taut, sleek lines.
Boasting exceptional water resistance to 300 meters, thanks to the screw-locked crown and case-back, the Marine Diver also features a unidirectional rotating bezel, which prevents any accidental adjustment to the dive time.
Other notable feature is its high legibility, a must for diving watches. The impressive 44 mm face displays large hour-markers and hands with a white luminescent coating and a red stripe, for perfect visibility. The small seconds at 6 o’clock are also oversized, offering a reassuring sign that the watch is functioning as it should, even in the water’s murky depths. Lastly, the claw-shaped rubber moulding over the crown ensures it is easy to grip, even with diving gloves.
This diving watch is powered by the self-winding calibre UN-26 and with a power reserve of 42 hours. The new Marine Diver displays, in addition to its time functions, the date in an aperture at 6 o’clock and the power reserve in a counter at 12 o’clock. It is available in steel, mounted on a rubber strap our steel bracelet.

Slightly more petite with a diameter of 40 mm, the Lady Diver would also be suited to a man’s wrist. Featuring the same aesthetic qualities as the Marine Diver, it is equipped with the self-winding calibre UN-815, offering hours, minutes, seconds and the date at 6 o’clock. Water resistant to 100 meters, the Lady Diver is also available on a rubber strap or steel bracelet.
