Seiko has expanded its Prospex collection by launching the new Kinetic GMT Diver watch. Presently, three references are available: SUN019P1, SUN021P1 and SUN023P1.

The new Seiko Prospex Kinetic GMT Diver watch comes with the same double case system as the legendary 1975 model, but it does so in a modernized and stylish way. This professional timepiece from the Prospex range has 200m water resistance. Moreover, it has a design flair that makes it unique, as is clear from the window in the side of the outer case through which you can see the inner case.

The uniquely designed dial offers optimum legibility. The other professional level specifications of the new Seiko Prospex Kinetic GMT Diver watch include the 3 dimensional hour markers, the anti-reflective coating on the sapphire crystal and the precise and secure unidirectional bezel.

This timepiece houses the Seiko Cal. 5M85 Kinetic GMT movement. The Kinetic timekeeping technology is ideal for diving activities as it combines 1 second a day precision with the certainty of Seiko’s unique no-battery-change Kinetic technology. The watch has an addition hand on the centre to display a second time zone.

All the new Kinetic GMT Diver models feature a black dial, but differ in the colors used for highlighting the GMT hand, 24-H scale and minute hand. The same applies to the rotating bezel. For example, model SUN021P1 comes with yellow minute hand, blue GMT hand and matching 24H scale numbers/indices, and black bezel with yellow details.

The 47.5mm diameter case with two piece construction protects the timepiece from shocks. The Seiko Prospex Kinetic GMT Diver watch is available with a steel bracelet or with a silicon strap.
