LOCMAN Stealth Professional 300 Metres
Italian watch brand LOCMAN unveils Stealth Professional 300 m dedicated to diving professionals. These are watches tested for dives down to a depth of 300 metres.
They represent an important step in the growth of this Elba-based company that was founded almost 30 years ago and has achieved some impressive results, in terms of both case construction design and, more recently, in the field of movement development.
To achieve the best levels of water resistance, SIO (Italian School of Watchmaking founded by LOCMAN in 2006) engineers have worked on all Stealth case components so as to reinforce them.
The Stealth Professional 300 M screw-down crown has been scaled up and fitted with a double silicon O-ring. The watch glass, rendered more transparent by a special sapphire treatment, is now thicker without losing clarity.
The thickness of the 316L surgical steel and ultra-light titanium case has also been increased. The sturdy unidirectional 60-minute bezel is in ABS thermoplastic material, which is innovative, light and ultra-resistant to impacts, pressure and – above all – to temperature variations.
Its knurled pattern ensures a better grip during dives and it was designed to ensure the smoothest, most stable clicking possible.
The large dial is intended to ensure optimum readability even in poor visibility: the hands are luminous thanks to Superluminova treatment on the hour-markers and the hour and minute hands. The date is topped by a magnifying lens.
The generously sized 46 mm case of the Stealth Professional 300 M houses a S.I.O. Calibre 1 mechanical self-winding movement driving hour, minute, seconds and date functions. The Stealth Professional 300 M comes with a strap in hypoallergenic black silicon or in natural leather for urban use.
