One of Van Cleef & Arpels’ icons of watchmaking, the Charms timepiece is distinguished by its curved silhouette embellished with a lucky charm.
Echoing the charms created by the Maison from the 1920s onwards, it accompanies the movements of the wrist by spinning lightly round the case. Encouraged by this joyful dance, each day becomes a moment of luck, filled with sparkling hours.
With the Charms Gold watches, the Maison celebrates the harmonious radiance of pink gold, which features prominently in the Alhambra™ and Perlée™ jewellery collections. With its suggestion of tender feelings, the delicately polished pink gold gently reflects the light and contributes a warm feminine sheen to the creations.
In 2014, the Maison is unveiling three Charms Gold models in pink gold (in Mini, S and M sizes), embellished by details of rare refinement. Following in the aesthetic tradition of the Charms collection, the dazzling white lacquered dial is adorned with a guilloché effect that echoes the motif of the rotating charm.
The bezel combines both traditional polishing and a satin-finish effect to create subtle plays of light. Finally, the arabesques of Van Cleef & Arpels appear engraved in English calligraphy on the rim of the case, like a precious signature.
