Paris based young watch brand Burel makes exceptional mechanical timepieces inspired from the nautical world.
In 2013, the brand entered into the watchmaking industry with its first two models, the Class Yacht and the Class Sail. The style of each is distinguished by the elegance of their faces of precious woods, which are based on boat decks.
In 2014, the brand wanted to create new model inspired by nautical instrumentation. For this new model will keep the precious nautical brand identity taken from the style and use of materials related to the nautical world. This model has been christened as CLASS CAPE.

The new Class Cape is an exclusive timepiece which will be introduced to customers by creating a crowd funding campaign. Inspired by nautical instrumentation, this timepiece features a compass graphics. Unlike a traditional watch, there are no hands.
Class Cape time reading is done by a red indicator line superimposed on gradations of a carbon disc, as on a compass of navigation. The disk rotates clockwise; the hour and minute digits are graded from right to left.

The Burel Class Cape is powered with a highly reliable and robust Swiss ETA 6498 mechnical movement. This timepiece comes with a black sail canvas strap. Like all Burel watches, the Class Cape has an international 2 year warranty.
