G. Gagnebin & Cie Karaktero Collection
Inheritor of a long watchmaking history, Swiss watch brand G. Gagnebin & Cie re-launches its activities with its first collection of timekeepers for men. A classical design and contemporary stamping subtly ingrain the Karaktero watches.
While staying faithful to the values that surrounded the history of the company – the lion and snake emblem placed on the bottom of the watches attests it –, the G. Gagnebin & Cie watches aim for today’s men.
The new Gagnebin Karaktero watch has a stainless steel case measuring 43mm diameter. Three models are available: the vintage version, the contemporary version and the modern variant, in black PVD. They are equipped with the Swiss made Sellita SW 300 automatic movement.
As the name in Ido language indicates, the Karaktero collection expresses the strength of character and ambition of the brand. It combines modern technology, natural elegance and artisan workmanship.
The watch displays hour, minute, centre seconds, and date (at 6 o’clock). Depending upon the version, Karaktero comes with an anthracite vertical brushed or black sunray or brown sunray dial.
The G. Gagnebin & Cie Karaktero automatic watch is available on a sleek leather or alligator bracelet. The steel case-back has a round transparent glass window offering the glimpse of the movement.
The lion and snake engraving on the case-back is inspired by the historical symbol used on the letterhead of the G.Gagnebin & Cie. watch company.
