Family-owned watch brand SCALFARO and Monaco’s oldest water-sports association – the exclusive SOCIETE NAUTIQUE DE MONACO (SNM) founded in 1888 – have developed an edition of mechanical wristwatches based on common values such as authenticity, tradition and passion.

Conceived with great attention to detail, radiating with quality in every aspect from the sophisticated construction of its watch case with its refined surface finishing and the elaborate mechanism of its Swiss automatic movement, each edition timepiece is made to last and reflects the passion that the members of the Société Nautique feel towards their Association and their sport.

The edition is limited to 25 pieces and features the crest of the SNM as well as the flag of Monaco. These elements were integrated into the watch case with the help of the Scalfaro Ceramic Intarsia Technology which unites solid ceramic elements and stainless steel.

In a private ceremony, the owners of Scalfaro, brothers Alexander & Dominik Kuhnle, presented the first piece of this edition to HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco.

The dial strikes with its balanced design and the play of light on its wave-like Guilloché surface. The inner turning bezel under the domed sapphire crystal is operated by the crown at 10 o’clock and serves e.g. to measure a regatta countdown. The hands are modeled after the shape of a rowing boat hull. The Monegasque flag as well as the “Burgee” of the SNM are integrated into the stainless steel watch case (43mm diameter, water-resistance 100m/300ft) via Scalfaro’s innovative technology of SCALFARO CERAMIC INTARSIA which unites steel and solid ceramic elements. The crest of the SNM is engraved in the natural rubber strap which features an elegant folding buckle with safety buttons.

The finely decorated Swiss mechanical movement (ADK Calibre 147) with its automatic winding mechanism is visible through the sapphire crystal case back. Limited to 25 pieces worldwide each incl. individual numbering (01/25,…); Price: Euro 3.450,–
