LAPIZTA Watch Collection (2013)

Headquartered at Hallandale (Miami), LAPIZTA is a US watch brand which takes inspiration from the world of motor racing. This young watch brand’s ambition and drive stems from its passion for motorsports, racing, speed and adrenaline-driven lifestyles. The brand name LAPIZTA is derived from the Spanish word, “la pista”, means the racetrack.

Two cousins joined by two passions – for extreme sports and watchmaking. One, a professional skydiver and the other an avid motorsport aficionado, and both with a strong family history in the watchmaking industry fused their passions into LAPIZTA.

Beginning in 2010, LAPIZTA has developed a collection of racing inspiring timepieces that go beyond functionality and aesthetic appeal. Committed to engineering timepieces that are anything but standard, LAPIZTA transforms traditional watch components into distinct design elements such as break pad bezels, carbon fiber dials, tire tread straps and more.

The Accentor for example, appeals to bike enthusiasts while the Amur reflects the captivating elegance of passionate women. These identities are designed to connect and reflect the different lifestyles of individuals with passions for racing and extreme sports.

The Audax & Izurus models, which boast water resistance up to 300 meters, are dedicated to the lovers of water sports and diving. The LAPIZTA models are made with high grade 316L stainless steel IP black or IP gold & stainless steel cases and available in 48mm or 43mm versions.
