Alpina Startimer Pilot Manufacture with AL-710 Caliber
The Alpina Startimer Pilot Manufacture encases the fully in-house manufactured Alpina AL-710 Automatic Small Date Caliber, which can be admired though the transparent case-back of the watch. On the dial the two Alpina signatures can be immediately recognized, the red triangle at the base of the central seconds hand, as well as the in-house caliber signature, the small hands date in the 6 o’ clock position.
The scratch-resistant convex sapphire crystal, treated with an antireflective coating, gives a glare-free view of the striking anthracite sunray dial. The white, luminous hands contrast brilliantly with the dark-coloured dial, as do the hand-applied Arabic numerals and indexes.
Alpina Startimer Pilot Automatic Chronograph with AL-860 Caliber
The Alpina Startimer Pilot Automatic encases the Alpina AL-860 Automatic Chronograph movement with “Bi-Compax” 60 seconds and 30 minutes small counter layout. Like for the Startimer Pilot Manufacture the case-back is transparent and the 44mm case is 100m (300ft) water-resistant.
The “Bi-Compax” dial layout is ideal for time readability, a must for pilot watches, and the Sunray Dial and Appliques add an unmistakable luxury appeal.
Both watches are limited to 8888 pieces and the individually numbered timepieces are presented in a unique gift box featuring a Cessna Mustang model plane.
