Seiko Watch Co., Ltd. has released the Seiko Galante FC Barcelona Limited Edition timepiece.
Seiko Watch has signed a three-year global partnership agreement with FC Barcelona since 2011, and supports the club’s activities as an “official watch partner”.
Made of stainless steel case, the Seiko Galante FC Barcelona SBLL021 watch embodies the club’s philosophy of “aggressive and spectacular football” more deeply than ever before. The case measures 45mm diameter. The bezel expresses FC Barcelona’s football philosophy, with a beautiful finish that is smooth and polished while having a strong thickness. The “FC BARCELONA” logo is boldly engraved on the top surface, insisting on a strong personality.
The dial design is inspired by the FC Barcelona emblem. By unifying the vivid coloring of the emblem with the metal color, it expresses the pride and unwavering strength of the club’s steel. The “FCB” logo in the center and the football icon at 6 o’clock are beautifully finished with a mirror surface, while a small window with visible movement balance is placed on top of the “Cross of San Jordi” at 10 o’clock. San Jordi (or Saint George) is the Patron saint of Catalonia, Spain.
Fitted with a small exhibition glass, the case-back is engraved with the FC Barcelona emblem. The backside of the crocodile strap is embossed with the club slogan “més que un club” (Catalan for “more than a club”). The Seiko Galante FC Barcelona SBLL021 watch offers a water resistance of 200 meters.
Limited to 150 pieces worldwide, this new model has a suggested retail price of 525,000 yen (500,000 yen excluding tax).
