Emile Chouriet ‘Nuit des Temps’

With the ‘Nuit des Temps’ timepiece, Swiss watch brand Emile Chouriet pays tribute to the history of the city of Geneva.

This design was based on the design of church clock of the “place de la Fusterie” in Geneva, the headquarters of Emile Chouriet Manufacture. Built in 1714, this church is a legendary place where the victims of religious persecution would take refuge. The outside architecture of the Church of Fusterie is typically Calvinist and can be found in many of the old quarters of Geneva.

The specificity of this timepiece is to display the passing hours over 24 hours. The disc of hour changes at noon and midnight, symbolizing the flow of the day and night ever since the dawn of time.
