This elegant and sophisticated reinterpretation of the Verdict Tourbillon proposes a subtle balance between the flying tourbillon and the grande date and will delight devotees of Haute Horlogerie as well as all those with a taste for contemporary lines.
HYSEK’s 45mm Tourbillon received a favourable eleventh-hour verdict, literally. This is because judgment was passed to remove the Arabic numeral 11 hour index which is a key design characteristic to make way for the tourbillon placed at the 10 o’clock position. The other hand-applied Arabic numerals 1, 5 and 7 which are signature design codes remain on the dial.
As there is no top-end supporting bridge, one will recognise this as a flying tourbillon. With an open display case back, the brand’s in-house Manufacture tourbillon’s beauty can be fully appreciated from top and rear view perspectives. A grande date display sits at the 2 o’clock position and is set via a push-button at 4 o’clock. The 45mm diameter case in rose gold and titanium is rounded to suit those more into classic-shaped timekeepers while retaining the characteristic HYSEK look.
From the back, it is worth observing the results of the high-end finishings employed such as cerclage and hand-chamfering which are comparable to Poinçon de Genève standards. The in-house automatic movement, made from 345 components, features an oscillating weight in 22-Karat gold and rhodium-plated. Also available in titanium only.
