Hermès’ new Clipper Sport models offer playful blend of materials in exteriors and the straps are also available in a range of bright colours. Equipped with a Swiss made self-winding movement, this new model from Clipper line features the emblematic bezel inspired by the portholes of the great 19th century sailing ships.
Available in three versions, it showcases complex work with materials through a bimetallic case construction featuring the case-back and bezel in steel, and the case-band made of titanium – a material known both for its lightness and for its performance in the world of competitive sailing.
The slim outline of the H for Hermès initial adorns the rubber strap. Large Arabic numerals stand out on the dial, while a triangular marker in the same colour as the centre seconds-hand points to the date. Once night has fallen, the dagger-shaped hands and the superluminova-coated hour dots ensure perfect readability. The counter-clockwise rotating bezel also features a luminescent marker at noon.
