Opened on 28 Nov 12, the new TAG Heuer boutique is located in Rue Robert-Céard, in the heart of the centre of Geneva, an area renowned for its concentration of luxury brands. The one that was missing has now taken up its rightful place, 100 m2 of immersion in the brand. This is the second boutique of TAG Heuer in Switzerland after Lucerne.
Like a precious casket, this new boutique shows off the brand’s latest watchmaking creations and the TAG Heuer Carrera collection in particular, whilst absolutely respecting the particular universe of each product line. Visitors will also enjoy exclusive access to the brand’s Lifestyle collection of accessories (coats, bags, belts, etc.), as well as to the TAG Heuer range of sunglasses and the luxury communication devices, Meridiist, Link and Racer, specially conceived by TAG Heuer.
TAG Heuer thus pursues its policy of developing its retail market by opening 2 new boutiques in Switzerland. This is all the more logical in view of the fact that travel retail represents 80% of turnover in the company’s home market.
Over the last five years the brand has significantly increased its focus on retail strategy, opening several new stores throughout the world. In Europe it has paid particular attention to establishing a presence in major tourist locations such as Paris, Lucerne, Venice and Munich. TAG Heuer currently has 4,500 points of sale all over the world, and 160 boutiques. Its long-term aim is to reach a total of 300 boutiques.
