Sinn Hunting Watch in Association with Paul Parey Publishing House

German watch maker Sinn (Sinn Spezialuhren zu Frankfurt am Main) and the Paul Parey magazine publishing house have joined forces to develop a high quality mechanical hunting watch. With its dark, hunter green dial, the timepiece is a chronograph with features which have been specially designed to meet the specific requirements of hunters. The hunting watch is being launched in a limited edition of just 100 pieces in October 2012 and will be sold exclusively via a website set up by Paul Parey (www.jagduhr.com).

A timepiece is a crucial instrument for a hunter and is an essential part of his hunting equipment. A high quality watch, therefore, carries the same importance as the rifle, binoculars and clothing. The hunting watch developed by Sinn Spezialuhren and Paul Parey Verlag has been specially designed for heavy duty use when hunting, displaying outstanding reliability, extreme resilience and a high degree of functionality – in all weather and light conditions.

This is ensured, for example, by the special technologies developed by Sinn Spezialuhren. The Ar Dehumidifying Technology, for instance, makes sure that the glass remains free from fogging and that the movement retains its accuracy. The temperature resistance technology in combination with SINN special oil 66-228 ensures functionally reliable running of the watch within a temperature range of -45°C to +80°C.

The case made of bead-blasted stainless steel is especially scratch-resistant on account of the TEGIMENT technology and is also largely non-reflective. The strikingly designed luminous numerals and indices of the hunting watch mean that it is perfectly easy to read even in half-light and darkness. It is simplicity itself to change the silicone strap – which is also easy to clean after use – meaning that the hunting watch can even be worn on occasions when elegance and sophistication are called for.
