Introduced in 2012, the Landmaster SBDB005 from the Seiko Prospex series is a full-fledged adventure watch. Capable of handling harsh environmental conditions faced by mountaineers, this 46.7mm diameter wristwatch in hard-coated titanium houses a spring drive movement.

The Landmaster SBDB005 features its crown at the 12 o’clock position to avoid some difficulties arise during mountain climbing. Its screwed bezel comes with a special structure that responds to changes in air pressure peculiar to high altitudes. The black dial has bold hands and indexes. Applied with Lumibrite, they offer a long lasting glow and provide exceptional visibility even at night or in bad weather.

This Seiko Prospex Landmaster Spring Drive watch has four centre hands for displaying the hour, minutes, seconds and an additional time zone. In addition, it has a power reserve display function at 4 o’ clock and a date window at 3 o’clock. It is also Antimagnetic (4,800A/m).

Inside this watch beats the Seiko 5R66 Spring Drive movement with automatic winding system. It offers an approximate power reserve of 3 days (72 hours).

Water-resistant to 100 meters, Seiko Landmaster SBDB005 features a super clear coated sapphire crystal glass, screw lock type crown and screwed case-back. The case and bracelet employ a special coating (Comfortex Titanium) to protect the watch from scratches and to prevent metal allergies.

The Seiko Prospex Landmaster Spring Drive range was introduced in 2009 by launching reference SBDB003, a titanium watch with a compass bezel.
