GOLAY SPIERER
Based in Geneva, Golay Spierer is a horology atelier specialized in custom made watches following the inspiration and the dreams of the clients. The company Golay Spierer was founded by Emile Spierer and Christophe Golay in 2001.
The keystone of this project was to be “RESPECTFUL” of the artisans, heritage, history of watchmaking, to have respect for the environment and, of course, the client. By respecting the watchmaking world, one imbues oneself with the incredible innovative spirit which has characterized its history. This is the very reason which inspired them to innovate, invent and contribute to this heritage from the beginning.
On January 1, 2001, Emile Spierer and Christophe Golay created the Golay Spierer brand name and presented their project to Genilem, an institution whose specialty is to assist innovative new companies at their start. Genilem’s committee selected them on June 1, and thus, assisted them for a total of three years. On June 26, 2001 the Golay Spierer name became official. They opened the work shop in Carouge mid-September and the first watch was delivered on Nov 23, the day before they inaugurated their workshop.

These 6 watches were made for a group of Thai Watchlovers. Only the material of the dial, case and bracelet were changed depending on the desire of the customer.
