Georges Braque was a famous French artist in the early 20th century and one of the initiators of the cubist art movement, which had a profound influence on the life style and European culture.
Inspired by the ideas and essence of this well-known artist, Ernest Borel designer cleverly applies the concept of “cubism” to the Braque Collection.
Making use of the principles of light and shadow, these horological works of art show multi-angle radial stripes, surface Roman numerals and natural diamond indexes to create a sense of space with luminous colors as well as elegant and smooth lines. The result is full of creativity, a subtle blend of light and dark, black and white, reality and imagination.
