Ellicott Mach One SkyEagle Chronograph

Swiss luxury watch brand Ellicott presents Mach One SkyEagle Chronograph, the world’s first chronograph with inverted escapement, re- assembled and visible at the dial level.

Fashioned in satin-polished steel with black DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) finish, its case displays a stylish cushioned square silhouette. Its ergonomic design underlines the position of its crown and pushpiece, opposite 8 o’clock. Fitted with a sapphire lens, the porthole-like case back reveals the movement’s intricate construction.

Ellicott Mach One SkyEagle Chronograph

The layout and open-working of the SkyEagle’s handsome silver-toned and black dial face underscore the chronograph’s various technical features and functions. Its time displays include two luminescent hands for the hours and minutes and a sub-dial at 3 o’clock for the running seconds. A centre seconds hand and a 30-minute totaliser at 9 o’clock make up the chronograph functions.

A tachymetric scale is inscribed on the dial flange. The self-winding chronograph movement equipping the Ellicott Mach One SkyEagle Chronograph is the first to be fitted with an inverted escapement, reassembled at the dial level and visible at 5 o’clock through the dial plate. This movement is also unusual in that it features a single pushpiece.
