Cuervo y Sobrinos, the Swiss luxury watch brand with roots in the Caribbean city of Havana, is celebrating 130th anniversary of its existence. The jewellery and watchmaking business founded by Ramon (giving rise to the name, Cuervo y Sobrinos – “Cuervo and nephews”) in 1882 had been expanded by Armando Rio y Cuervo and his brothers by the end of 19th century.
A world renowned luxury watch brand, Cuervo y Sobrinos has its headquarters and manufacturing center on the shore of the Lake Lugano (Switzerland). In 2012 the brand pays tribute to its watch-making tradition by the first creation of the 130th anniversary. The model is a 18kt pink gold Historiador watch with hand wound movement. It features include date and small seconds at 6h00. Limited to only 130 pieces.
