First introduced in 2007, the DIMIER Collection is characterised by the four horns of its case and its crown positioned at 3 o’clock. The collection consists of timepieces featuring exclusive tourbillon movements and complications developed by the DIMIER 1738, Manufacture de Haute Horlogerie Artisanale.
Introduced in 2012, the Récital 8 condenses in a single timepiece the characteristics and advances that have underpinned the success of this collection since its launch.
Its tourbillon movement is the fruit of an exclusive development in which watchmakers opted for an architecture based on two three-quarter plates. While very demanding, this type of construction typical of the 19th century ensures rigidity and mechanical uniformity. Moreover, it frees up even more space for the regulating organ, making it possible to extend the diameter of the carriage to 13.50mm. This exceptional timepiece displays the time in two time-zones simultaneously. Furthermore, indication of the second time-zone is coupled with a day/ night indicator, and more especially a cities disc indexed to all 24 existing time-zones.
Naturally, the decorative work and finish of this movement left no room for compromise. The white mother-of pearl dials contrast harmoniously with circular anthracite Côtes de Genève decorations. The tourbillon carriage meanwhile appears literally to be suspended by the generous bridge that carries it.
