The new World Traveller models from Swiss watchmaker DAVOSA can best be described as frequent flyer or travel watches. Thanks to their GMT function, these watches display two time zones at one time. In 2011, DAVOSA introduced two new models in this collection: World Traveller Chronograph & World Traveller Automatic Four Hands.
The World Traveller will be available from specialist watch retailers in an automatic version for 998 euros and as a chronograph for 1,898 euros. A further striking feature of these watches is their design that harks back to the 1970s.
The chronograph model, in particular, catches the eye with its tri-colour design on the hands, dial and smaller auxiliary dial at 9 o’clock. Inside the watch you will naturally discover Swiss quality: The glass back of both the chronograph and the four-handed version reveals the workings of an exceptionally refined Swiss mechanical movement (ETA 7754-2 and ETA 2893-2 respectively).
