Swiss luxury watch manufacture Patek Philippe extends its support for the Only Watch Charity Auction 2011 by presenting a unique Stainless Steel Minute Repeater Tourbillon model, Ref. 3939A.
For the prestigious charity event, Patek Philippe created for the first time a Stainless Steel Minute Repeater Tourbillon timepiece with a black enamel dial based on the emblematic Ref. 3939 model.
The case measures 33.3mm diameter and the dial features Breguet numeral hours markers. The small seconds dial is inscribed with TOURBILLON and the serial number of the movement. Its manual-winding movement can be admired through the sapphire crystal case-back.
The Only Watch 2011 special stainless steel model Ref. 3939 is and will remain the one and unique piece ever produced by Patek Philippe Geneva. This timepiece will be auctioned on September 22nd, 2011 at 4 p.m. in Monaco to fund medical research for the Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
