Cecil Purnell Classique 47

The new Classique 47 tourbillon wrist watch by Cecil Purnell maintains similarities with the Classique 43 presented at Basel World 2010. The aesthetic on the 47 is largely inspired by the Classique 43 but provides a more avant-‐garde feel.

Beyond case size, key differences on the 47 include a larger movement plate, a larger opening on the case back as well as non-convex anti-reflective sapphire crystal giving it a more modern look.

The watch is being introduced in black PVD- treated steel, microbillage finish. The steel used is MX 455, which ranks among the best stainless alloys available. The 47 will be soon available in Rose Gold (5N18) or White Gold (150 Palladium). Palladium provides a unique glow to the gold and allows the coloring to maintain its youth.
