Fendi Selleria Collection 2011 – Summer Hues, New Dials
One of the most versatile and creative luxury Swiss made watch lines on the market, Fendi Selleria is a veritable stroke of genius that allows every woman to make her own personal haute couture statement any minute of the day.
Selleria features an unparalleled, ingenious interchangeable strap system that is so simple for the wearer to use that Fendi doesn’t even sell the timepiece as a complete watch, but instead, sells the straps and the watch heads separately so the discerning woman can mix and match to customize her own timepiece.
The interchangeable strap system features straps and bracelets with the stainless steel lugs already affixed to them. Thus, the wearer needs only to press a small button above the crown using a tool provided with the watch (or with a pin, pen or other small-tipped object) to release the bezel of the watch. Once released, the bezel swings open and the attachment to the strap can be removed and another put into place.
Approximately 30 different strap colors, along with stainless steel bracelets, are offered any given season – as Fendi updates the colors seasonally. For summer 2011, Fendi unveils four exciting new strap colors. Among them are the vibrant hues of emerald, erica pink, ochre and violet.
For those who enjoy the luxurious look of gold, this year Selleria makes its debut with alluring two-tone dials that feature color-coordinated rose or yellow gold numerals against a silver or mother of pearl dial.
Fendi Selleria straps are of hand-made quality, and include genuine teju lizard, high polished calf, or supreme Fendi signature “cuoio romano” Selleria leather with the unique Fendi Selleria hand saddle stitching that can be found on other key collections including handbags, leather goods, shoes and sunglasses.
Every strap has a removable Selleria logo medallion, giving wearers the option of displaying the Fendi name or portraying understated attitude. The Selleria high-polished bracelets, just as easily interchangeable, are made of stunning interwoven stainless steel links that are supple and ergonomically designed to fit like silk against the wrist.
The caseback of each Selleria watch features a sapphire crystal with a silk screened image of the Selleria horse logo in all its equestrian beauty, further demonstrating the Fendi Selleria codes that form the tie between this legendary design house and the fine Italian leather saddlery world.
As with all Fendi fine timepieces, the Selleria line features only full-cut top wesselton vvs diamonds on the case and bezel.
The Swiss made watches house quartz movements, some with off-center sweep second subdials. All are water resistant to 50 meters and feature sapphire crystals. Fendi Selleria watches come with a two year warranty, and are sold only by select fine retailers around the world.
