The new B-47 BIG BLACK & BIG STEEL models are the perfect examples of creativity and high professionalism displayed by Swiss watch brand FORTIS. These watches are powered with the Swiss Automatic movement 2836-2, modified by FORTIS.

The current Day and Date are not only displayed in the new “Big Day/Date” format, but also the Day/Date disk shimmers throughout the whole matt black/transparent glass dial. The distinctive big indices are coated with black luminous material and the sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides guarantees best legibility even in difficult lighting conditions.

Another novelty that comes with these models is the bezel: The wavelike jagged bezel with 60-minute scale is unidirectional adjustable and featured with a semicircular rubber inlay, which especially protects the case as well as the glass when accidentally hitting the watch.
Two case types are available: On the one hand the classic brushed steel case, on the other hand the completely “Black Monster” in a steel/ PVD black case. Both models are limited to 2012 pieces each and hence represent another highlight in the collection of the FORTIS 100th anniversary jubilee models.
