Driven by an automatic mechanical movement especially developed for Longines, the Master Collection Retrograde Power Reserve is a tribute to the brand’s watchmaking tradition.
The self-winding Calibre L697.2 (ETA A07 L11) has a diameter of 16½ lines and 25 jewels. It beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers a power-reserve of 48 hours.
Apart from the hours, minutes and seconds, this model has a power-reserve indicator at 6 o’clock and three retrograde functions, namely the day of the week at 12 o’clock, a date aperture on the right-hand side of the dial and a second time-zone with a 24-hour scale on the left.
The silvered dial features eleven black Roman numerals that enhance the 7 blued steel hands. The stainless steel case, with its discreet correctors, has a transparent back cover and is fitted on a stainless steel bracelet with a folding safety clasp. This model is water-resistant to 3 bar (30 metres).
This watch is available in two case sizes: 41mm and 44mm. The Longines Master Retrograde collection also offers other versions featuring second time-zone or moon-phases display.
