Swiss luxury watch brand Manufacture Rodolphe Cattin presents a new masculine timepiece, the Witness Tourbillon Squelette.

This complication offers a subtle mix of the best Swiss watchmaking expertise and Rodolphe Cattin’s audacious creativity: at the heart of a 45-mm white-gold case-middle trimmed with curved sapphire crystal vibrates a skeleton movement, whose irresistible allure and high-quality finishes are equally captivating. When designing this virile timepiece, the designer focused on the power of the curves, satin-brushed finishes and polished facets adorning the middle.

The tiny bubbles adorning the ladies’ watches have been transformed into slender drops here – a unique and unparalleled design – to house a black alligator-skin strap. This men’s watch is available in a variety of materials, from white gold to pink gold, including a fabulous version in satin-brushed steel.

Rodolphe Cattin designed the details and finishes that embellish this skeleton tourbillon movement alongside Manufacture Concepto. The drawn, bevelled and block-polished aspect of the tourbillon carriage o”er a glimpse of the highly complicated techniques used in this creation. The movement’s skeleton work showcases all the gear trains and the pure mechanics of the movement.

Featuring a power reserve of 72 hours, the winding mechanism is visible through the transparent case back. The escapement is equipped with a side pallet. This unique movement has a three-armed octopus spring that operates the pull-out piece, pawl and lever.
