Longines evidenza Power Reserve

Swiss watch brand Longines expands its evidenza collection by introducing a new model with Power Reserve display.

From the day of its launch in 2003, the Longines evidenza collection was enthusiastically received everywhere. Celebrated for both the classic elegance of its tonneau-shaped case and its purely horological excellence, it reaffirmed yet again Longines’ uniquely stylish way with technology.

A natural feature on a self-winding mechanical movement, the power-reserve indicator measures and displays the residual energy stored in the mainspring, i.e. the time remaining before the movement stops if no rewinding occurs. That information is usually shown by a pointer moving over a maximum-minimum sectoral display.

Longines evidenza Power Reserve

The power-reserve design joining the Longines evidenza collection features the L602 self-winding mechanical caliber (base ETA 2897.5). Beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, this 21 jewel movement provides a power reserve of 42 hours.

It shows the hours, minutes and seconds along with the date, with both its date calendar and the power-reserve indicator positioned at 6 o’clock on the dial.

The Longines evidenza Power Reserve watch featurees a stainless steel case framing a black or silvered dial inscribed respectively with 12 silver painted Roman numerals and silvered steel hands or 12 blue painted Roman numerals and blued steel hands. It comes with either a stainless steel bracelet or a dark brown genuine leather strap.
