Orient Watch Co., Ltd. has announced the launch of its new Neo ’70s series.
These quartz watches offer a powerfully modern take on the mechanical watch designs of the 1970s. The thick and sturdy casing features the popular matted hairline finish (a polishing method that applies hair-thin lines) lending it an inorganic and cool feel. Faces are in deep red, basic white or black; colors reminiscent of the ’70s.
Design details on the face, such as the slanted minute-marker ring that creates a greater sense of solidity and a three-dimensional index, combine to produce a design that offers high visibility and a substantial presence.
The new Orient Watch Neo ’70s Series offers two types of quartz watches: a functional chronograph and a basic three-hand. A variety of types and colors offers consumers the freedom to choose a watch to suit their fashion sensibilities.
