Located in Abdi Ipekçi Caddesi Altin Sokak, in the prestigious and vibrant Nisantasi neighbourhood on the west bank, this showroom entirely devoted to Rolex watches offers a sumptuous setting to discover the immense variety of the Oyster and Cellini collections. It also allows clients to enjoy the quality of service that has made the reputation for excellence of the brand with the crown.
Opened on September 2010, this new Rolex Showroom is part of the network of Official Rolex Jewellers, who, as sole authorized points of sale and service of Rolex watches, are the guardians of their authenticity.
A veritable showcase, this 125 m2 flagship store offers an experience bathed in elegance and refinement in the heart of an exclusive universe. A welcome area, display and sales areas are carefully laid out on two floors respecting the aesthetic language set forth by the interior design architects at Rolex Geneva. These professionals combine distinctly Rolex colours, materials and motifs in the constant quest to provide pleasure for the senses, comfort and impeccable quality of service.
On the ground floor, the reception area envelops the visitor in an atmosphere inspired by water and the sea, themes dear to Rolex, inventor of the waterproof wristwatch. The welcome counter is in green Aqua glass with the wave motif featuring subtle plays of transparency and depth. Behind it, a tall sand-coloured vertical partition evokes sand patterns on the ocean floor.
The Crema Marfil marble from Andalusia of the flooring brings a cool touch to this bright and luminous interior. On the left, punctuated with display windows, the walls of the main sales area are finished with plane wood and elements covered in beige leather. On one of the walls, a television screen shows images of other facets of the Rolex universe and its values, such as sports sponsoring.
On the level above, reached by a staircase, a mezzanine offers a second, even more exclusive, sales area, separated from the rest of the shop by a translucent white glass partition with the Aqua motif.
The Yalaman family, owner of the Rhodium watch stores, operates this first Rolex flagship store on the shores of the Bosphorus.
This flagship store brings to four the number of Rolex Showrooms held by Rhodium in Istanbul. Rhodium also owns two Rolex Corners on the shores of the Bosphorus, one in the Istinye Park neighbourhood and the other in the Suadiye sector, and a Shop-in-Shop in the Akmerkez area. It also proudly hosts an after-sales service that employs three watchmakers rigorously trained to Rolex standards of excellence and precision.
The Rhodium company, specializing in watches, was founded in 2007 in Istanbul. Its founder, Haydar Yalaman, himself a trained watchmaker, has been working in this field for over 30 years. He is assisted in this endeavour by his wife Aynur and his son Özgür. The partnership between the Yalaman family and Rolex, however, dates back 10 years, thus preceding the creation of Rhodium. Ever since then, the partnership has continually grown stronger based on shared values.
