The GMT-3 watch model by proposed watch company VicenTerra watch & Co is the world’s first timepiece with a tri dimensional mini globe in a void space showing the sunlit face of the earth on the average time base, at local time.
The man behind this ambitious watch project is Vincent Plomb, who has an experience of more than 7 years in watch case making industry.
Tri dimensional complications set between clock movement and the case. The three round shaped stars that pace our lives are joined inside this unique watch: Earth, moon and sun. Planet earth , suspended in a void with an arched arm goes round its axis in 24h and indicates the sun’s average zenith lighting a face of the earth.
A finder drawn on the crystal sapphire above the earth puts you in the place of the sun. The earth globe is adjustable in to three time zones.
Suggested retail price for GMT-3 is 15’000.-CHF . However, a special edition of 100 numbered watches is reserved for the first 100 subscribers for the price of 5’000.- CHF + VAT.
For special edition subscribers, the brand is also planning to gift one registered share valued at 200.-CHF in the capital funds of the new public company to be launched VicenTerra Watch SA.
