Casio EDIFICE Chronograph EQS-500

Casio has released a new chronograph model in its EDIFICE line of metal watches—the EQS-500, featuring a dual-layer face for a dynamic design. The watch also features Casio’s Tough Solar system, which generates power from both sunlight and indoor lighting.

Capturing the essence of speed and intelligence, EDIFICE metal watches evoke a sense of velocity and motor sports energy with the movement of the hands and distinctive face of the watch. EDIFICE watches are especially popular with young people, thanks to their rich stopwatch functions and standout face designs.

A chronograph model with water resistance to 100 meters, the EQS-500 features a sporty metal case shaped with prominent edges framing a watch face that evokes the instrument panel and the gears of a sleek automotive machine.

Expressing precision and speed, the multi-hand watch face is finished with a dual-layer design to emphasize a multi-dimensional feeling. Its hands — driven by five independent motors — move in variegated patterns that suggest dynamic movement.
