Seiko Watch Co., Ltd. has released first divers’ watch models from the Seiko Brightz Phoenix series. It is a mechanical watch with a luxurious and smart appearance while having a full-scale diver’s specification of air diving of 200 meters. Presently, two references are available: SAGQ005 and SAGQ007. The suggested retail price is 252,000 yen (240,000 yen without tax) to 262,500 yen (250,000 yen without tax).

SAGQ005 and SAGQ007 are compatible with ISO (International Organization for Standardization) and JIS (Japanese Industrial Standards) divers watch standards. Both timepieces are equipped with Calibre 8L35, a robust and reliable self-winding mechanical movement manufactured by Shizukuishi Luxury Watch Studio. This movement has a power reserve of 50 hours.

Both models feature black dial with three centre hands (hour, minutes and seconds) and date display at 4.30H. The hands and indexes feature Lambright luminescent coating. Reference SAGQ007 is limited to 500 pieces. It can be easily identified by its red minute hand and DIVER’S 200m inscription in red.

Made of stainless steel and partially hard-coated, the case has a diameter of 42.0mm. It is mounted with a black unidirectional rotating bezel. The screw-down crown at 3 o’clock is protected with crown guards. The watch also a features solid stainless steel case back.

The Seiko Brightz Phoenix SAGQ005 & SAGQ007 models boast stylish design and luxurious construction, while ensuring toughness and performance. The limited model (SAGQ007) has a serial number from 001/500 to 500/500 on the back cover. A special box and a urethane band for replacement are available.
