Vacheron Constantin opens their first boutique in India at DLF Emporio Mall, New Delhi
Vacheron Constantin, the world’s oldest Swiss Haute Horlogerie manufacture with 255 years of uninterrupted history, opened its first boutique in India, located in New Delhi at the DLF Emporio Mall.
The inauguration was organized March 11th, 2010 in the presence of Mr Marc Guten, International Director of Vacheron Constantin and Mr. Yassin Tag, Brand Manager for Middle East & Indian Subcontinent who were sharing this special occasion with their long-term partners Mr. & Mrs. Anoop Mehta, Directors of Dia Precious Jewellery Pvt. Ltd., exclusive distributors of Vacheron Constantin in India.
Located at the first floor of the DLF Emporio Mall, the new boutique marks the Vacheron Constantin’s very first in India. In line with the design aesthetic of the manufacture’s historical Maison in the heart of Geneva, the new boutique features an elegant and warm interior design with almost 50 square metres, highlighted by precious materials such as wood, marble and leather, all reflecting the serene intimacy and welcome atmosphere characteristics of the Vacheron Constantin spirit.
This new boutique offers the entire range of services of Vacheron Constantin with notably a complete collection of exquisite timepieces displayed in refined showcases and the after-sales service.
In his speech, Mr Marc Guten said: “Vacheron Constantin and India share great history. Since the days of the Maharajas, Vacheron Constantin has been producing masterpieces for great families and discerning Indians such as astonishing platinum bracelet made in 1916 for the Maharaja of Patiala.
Indian customers’ expectations have risen considerably in terms of both service and product quality. Our Indians clients in particular, display a very sophisticated level of horology knowledge and taste for Grandes Complications and Métiers d’Art timepieces.
We believe India is an important player in the high-end watches for the future. By establishing our first boutique in New Delhi, we are looking to provide the best service to our Indian clients and strength our presence respecting Indian heritage and culture.”
To celebrate the grand opening of the boutique in New Delhi, Vacheron Constantin showcases the most ultimate timepieces – High Jewellery Collection and High Complications Collection, which embody the quintessential know-how and masterful craftsmanship tradition of Vacheron Constantin in the specialized field of Métiers d’Art decorative arts and creative horology.
The 1972 Cambrée Large Haute Joaillerie model, an exceptional creation distinguished by gem-setting verging on perfection as it flows along the case, dial and crown, literally lights up the feminine wrist. Stemming from the sparkling association between the case adorned with 106 baguette-cut diamonds, the Haute Joaillerie version of the 1972 sparkles with dazzling fire to sublimate feminine beauty.
