Building up on the success of the r5.5 collection, Rado is now unveiling the extension of the award winning line: the r5.5 Automatic.

A natural development, this new addition heralds the continued successful collaboration between Rado and the British industrial designer Jasper Morrison. Sharing the same passion, philosophy and enthusiasm for the use of high-tech ceramics as Rado, Morrison has effortlessly displayed this in the design of this new outstanding timepiece.
Aesthetically pleasing with a seamless and exquisite fusion of the case and bracelet. The links are gradually reduced so the watch appears as one, perfectly hugging the wrist. Deliberately modern and highly impactful. The eye is drawn towards the distinctive square silhouette of the dial, of which the radius gives the collection its name. The gentle curved edges of the r5.5 make it sensual yet serene.

The white luminous indexes and three hands provide a dramatic contrast to the deep black matt of the dial, covered by sapphire crystal. Date at 3 o’clock. Structured black matt ceramic crown. The intriguing automatic movement of this r5.5 is revealed through the transparent sapphire crystal case back.
