Japanese watch brand Orient Star has released a new white dial version (reference WZ0041DE) of its Classic Retrograde model.
Since its release in April 2009, the Orient Star Classic Retrograde has been well-received by those who appreciate authenticity as an authentic mechanical wristwatch with its sophisticated design and specifications.
The “Retrograde Movement” took approximately two years to develop. When switching the display from Sunday to Monday, the hand pointing to the fan-shaped day of the week instantly returns to its starting point, Monday, and starts moving again.

The newly released Orient Star Classic Retrograde model WZ0041DE comes with a white colour dial, giving it an elegant classic taste that enhances its functional beauty.
In addition to the retrograde day of the week display at 6H, this watch features a power reserve indicator at 12H and a sub-dial for the date at 9H. These three displays are laid out in a well-balanced manner on the two-layered three-dimensional dial.
The hour and minute hands have a peak-shaped cut, and one side has a glossy mirror finish and the other side has a subdued matte finish to improve legibility.
