The mechanical self-winding Spiroscope model by Louis Moinet highlights the oscillations of the balance which is visible through its added bridge. The latter is a modern version of the famous “balance-cocks” made by 19th century French watchmakers, and which were fastened with screws so as to decorate and protect the movement.

SPIROSCOPE case is a unique creation by Louis Moinet. It combines a pure elegance with the sophistication of a hand-crafted dial opened to admire the heart of the movement. The round, pure and powerful  case houses an exceptional mechanical self-winding movement. SPIROSCOPE is equipped with an exclusive mechanical self-winding movement with  360-degree shaped rotor and protected by a ruthenium-coated protective shield. It has a nickel-free caseback and the original crown guard system (patent pending).

The caseback reveals an unexpected vision with the entirely original oscillating weight shaped like the “Côtes du Jura”® motif. It winds in both directions and its oscillations are highlighted by a superimposed shield bearing the Louis Moinet symbols.
