Wearing nothing but classy black, the iconic new sports watch by Jaquet Droz shows how to effectively orchestrate variations on a monochromatic theme. The matt, black texture of the rubber strap and the deep midnight black of the dial have been juxtaposed with the gleaming surfaces of the black case, black-coated steel ring and black gold hands. The only striking contrast is afforded by the numerals, indicators and individual number of the watch, tattooed in white on the timepiece.
The Grande Seconde SWNOIR combines strength and modernity. The strength of its design is highlighted by the architectural lines of the case, while its modernity is expressed through the ultra-contemporary materials used, such as its PVD-coating.
This exclusive model, hand-crafted by master artisans at the Manufacture in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, will be available in a Numerus Clausus of 88. Equipped with a mechanical self-winding, double-barrel movement with a 22-carat white gold oscillating weight to match the case, the Grande Seconde SWNOIR is water-resistant to 88 metres.
