The Instrumentino’s steel case features two new dial versions, with sleek trim but radically differing styling. While the original models displayed a discreet sprinkling of diamonds on the hour markers and mobile case lugs, today’s designs sparkle and shine with a thousand fires. Their polished steel case’s understated finish contrasts with the dial’s diamond-set patterns and the black « volutes » scrollwork motifs so prized by de GRISOGONO.
One version features 19 brilliant-cut diamonds set into the subdial at 6 o’clock displaying the second time-zone. The watch is also available with a setting of 64 brilliant-cut stones arrayed around the first time-zone indication in the pattern of a lunar eclipse. Six black diamonds at 3, 9 and 12 o’clock add a contrasting touch.
New dials for improved legibility – while the original Instrumentino Steel & Diamonds shows the time in both time-zones with diamond-set hour markers and oversized Arabic numerals, the two new versions have opted for quiet understatement. Small “nailhead” type markers and the absence of numerals compose a neat, trim legible dial face – elegantly harmonious graphics with a quietly feminine touch.
Reflecting de GRISOGONO’s traditional attention to detail, the Instrumentino Steel & Diamonds comes with a black galuchat strap secured to the case by mobile links.
