Independent Swiss watch manufacture De Bethune shows their boldness by adorning its DBS Collection with diamonds to reveal a dream creation DBL. The stones are harmoniously arranged on a case of white gold. The flame – blued dial sets off a completely gem-set moon phase display which rotates on its own axis.

The white case is entirely set with diamonds, creating an incredible effect of velvety smoothness to the touch.All the light is reflected in the great depth of the diamonds which compose this exceptional piece. To ensure a successful alchemy, these diamonds have been individually selected with minute care so that they are of the greatest purity and combine perfectly each other.

Looking at it in minute details, there are 104 baguette-cut diamonds, 633 brilliant-cut diamonds and 44 single -cut(8/8) diamonds. As an ultimate touch even the winding crown at 12’o clock is set with diamonds. The indexes consists of 12 blue cabochon-cut sapphires.

As for the dial, it is in the form of a sky studded with golden stars with a spherical moon completely set with 44 blue sapphires and 44 brilliant cut diamonds.
The watch houses a veritable horological treasure: the calibre DB2105, designed entirely within the Manufacture and notable in particular for the titanium/platinum balance developed by Denis Flageollet. In the heart of this regulating organ, protected by the triple-parachute anti-shock system, is the celebrated balance spring with flat terminal curve.

This cascade of technology mean that these precious timepieces can guarantee outstanding accuracy as a result, among the other things, of a reduction of mechanical friction and the absorption of shocks.

All the steel parts of this movement are chamfered and polished by hand and the bridges are ornamented with the well known “Cote de Geneve” decoration. Finally, the power reserve of six days is discreetly displayed by and ingenious retractable hand at 6,o clock.
