The Coupe 06 epitomizes what Dubey & Schaldenbrand stands for: the finest quality, superb finish, attention to details, rarity and prestige. Its bodywork (case) draws its inspiration from the famous racing cars of the past: even its base sapphire is curvex.
Its finely guilloche dial with 24 zones has silver powder numerals, or gold powder numerals on the 18K model, or multicoloured numerals where each figure is a different color. Each numeral is finished by hand. Its special hands are very easy to read and are reminiscent of a vintage Dubey & Schaldenbrand advertisement “La montre DS marche bien” (The French slogan is a play on words as the word “marche” means both “works” and “walks” – The DS watch works (walks) well.
This watch is fitted with a Dubey & Schaldenbrand self-winding movement with a large date at 12h and small second hand at 6h. It has a chronometer-quality escapement, 42 hour running reserve, stop second and is water-resistant to 30 meters. The two sapphire crystals are curved and anti-reflective on both sides. The exclusive watch band is in Galuchat (stingray).
Each watch is supplied in a handcrafted burl walnut presentation case, lined in Alcantara. Limited edition: 360 pieces in polished 316L surgical stainless steel 60 pieces in 18K rose gold.
