With its elegant design and harmonious fit onto the wrist, this watch will definitely stand out amongst the others. “AQUADYN” – features a screw-crown as well as a domed sapphire crystal with an above average thickness of 1.8 mm. It is important to point out that the crystal has anti-reflective coating on both sides of the crystal – ensuring that this watch remains water-resistant to a depth of 100 meters (50 meters for 18K gold version).
“AQUADYN” uses a self-winding, automatic ETA 2892A2 movement as its base. This movement is specially modified for Dubey & Schaldenbrand to include a big date indicator window at 12 o’clock (made up of 2 individual disks which allows for easy reading of the date) and, a small second sub-dial at 6 o’clock which gives the watch a certain “retro” look.
Other particulars of the chronometer-quality movement include 26 jewels; Incabloc; Glucydur balance wheel; Nivarox I spiral; a polished-steel anker and anker wheel; rhodium-plated, brass plates which have a pearled or better-said “Côtes de Genève” finish; blued-steel screws.
“AQUADYN” is available in a stainless steel case (which happens to be made of 316 L surgical steel) or in 18K Rose Gold. Its 3 dimensional, beautifully-contoured, tonneau shape measures 38 x 47.5 mm with a thickness of 14.1 mm.
The dial is also contoured at the 4 corners and comes in a selection of 4 enamel-based colors, namely white, blue, black or Bordeaux. Add to this the typical Dubey & Schaldenbrand hands which come together to give this watch a look of complete harmony.
And of course, this watch comes equipped with a tough rubber bracelet with a deployable or folding buckle.
